iXem Labs' research activity mainly concerns radiopropagation themes.
At the moment most of the efforts are concentrated in the study and project of wireless networks. During spring 2007 the Labs will demonstrate the validity of low cost wireless transmitters for the realisation of long point-to-point links (iXem Record 2007). Concerning last mile and anti-digital-divide applications, iXem Labs annoverate some strategic partnerships, in whose framework important pojects and implementations were developed.
Another important field of research is Electromagnetic Compatibility: our studies are mainly related to high frequency shielding, electromagnetic measurements, human electromagnetic esposition assessment.
